About Isegahama Sumo Club

We want to keep the charm of sumo for children at
.
The Isegahama Sumo Club was born out of Oyakata Isegahama's strong desire to convey the appeal of sumo to children, with an eye on the future of the sport. The first sumo ring was established in 2025 in Shin-Yokohama Park.
In the future, we intend to establish Isegahama stable sumo clubs in various locations throughout Japan.
We hope that through sumo, students will develop courtesy, bonds with their peers, and the ability to take on challenges. We hope that this event will be the first step for future sumo wrestlers.
